Creative TY Connections (CTYC)

Creative TY Connections (CTYC) is a multi-modular, innovative, community education programme that brings together adults with disabilities and transition year students for mutual learning and development. It integrates financial, digital and interpersonal skills training while promoting community participation and inclusion. TY students participate in CTYC to support the 1:1 learning needs of individuals with disabilities, ensuring an inclusive and collaborative learning environment. Their role is to facilitate engagement, foster connections, and enhance accessibility within the programme. This programme counters the isolation and disconnection adults with disabilities face when they leave secondary education and acts as a pathway to community education by creating community ties and by supporting the development of practical skills, elevating the potential for socioeconomic engagement. Current modules include: Everyday IT, Sustainable Steps, Money Management, and Up skilling for Employment.

Our 2025 Impact report celebrates the profound impact of CTYC to date and presents a vision for its future. Click this text to read our impact report and watch our Impact video.

Now, we need the support of state representatives, private funders, disability service providers, schools and the general public to help expand this impactful and innovative education programme. If you are a school, service provider or want to sponsor our programmes, please click on the button below that applies to you and fill out the contact form.

These statistics are a harsh reminder of the isolation and loneliness experienced by those in the Disability Community. Our mission is to address this problem by creating inclusive, safe spaces where our participants can explore, create, and connect through a creative process.
