CA Collective at the RHA

The Spring 2025 Exhibition

Exhibition on view 14th March - 20th April 2025. Free to attend.

The 2025 exhibition showcased the work of the talented artists in the CA Collective. The Collective is a vibrant community of artists who identify as having an intellectual disability or are from the neurodiverse community. As members, these artists receive ongoing support from Connections Arts Centre, education, and professional opportunities to exhibit and sell their work, fostering creativity, confidence, and connection.

This year’s exhibition at the RHA Gallery was a display of artistic voices that challenge, inspire, and celebrate creativity without barriers.

Connecting Artists Collective at the RHA

The Connecting Artists Collective emerged as an extension of the Connecting Artists Programme, an annual, innovative online initiative aimed at helping visual artists with intellectual disabilities refine their artistic skills.

Artists who took part in the 2022 and 2023 programmes expressed a strong desire to stay connected, continue learning from one another, and share their expertise. In response, the Collective was created to provide a supportive online space for artistic collaboration and skill-sharing. It serves as a dynamic hub where artists can explore their creativity, engage with the broader disability community and society, and showcase or sell their work while expressing their individuality and cultural identity.

Connections Arts Centre supports the Collective through an active WhatsApp group, monthly online meetings, and opportunities for artists to exhibit and sell their work.
