The CAC Community
The CAC Community is led by artists with intellectual disabilities and neurodivergent artists. Artists with disabilities are at the centre of the Community as leaders, contributors and cultural producers. This community is open to all who share its purpose and includes mentors, artists, family members, supporters, funders, and others who care about making the arts more inclusive.
We organise a variety of activities that bring this wider community together, such as workshops, events, exhibitions, opportunities to learn new skills, and activities that help people enjoy and connect with art. This wider community plays an important role in supporting both creatives and the overall mission of CAC.
The CAC Community is supported through a membership programme with different levels of involvement, helping us grow our reach and impact.
The membership programme creates opportunities for:
Artists and creatives to remain connected and access opportunities
Supporters and families to actively champion inclusive arts, through membership fees
Businesses and patrons to contribute to long-term programme sustainability through financial contributions
This approach helps build a strong, connected community that supports both the artists and the long-term future of CAC.
