Connecting Artists Programme

75K will help us to support up to 40 Creatives in 2024.

Following on from the success of the inaugural programme in 2023, the Connecting Artists programme has become an annual event where ten artists living with disabilities are selected nationwide for a ten week online programme, designed to elevate their art practice and prepare them for exhibiting and selling their work.

Once the programme is completed, the participants have the opportunity to join the Connecting Artists Collective where we continue to support them with monthly online meetings, and opportunities to sell and exhibit their work.

In 2025 we aim to be supporting up to 40 Creatives through the Connecting Artist Programme and Collective.

Creative TY Connections (CTYC)

Transition Year Program

15K will support 25 participants through the program.

CTYC is a peer led programme where members of the disability community and Transition Year students come together to upskill. It is a multi modular programme that uses creative techniques to stimulate engaging learning environments, and this is supported by accessible online learning.

Current modules include:

  • Upskilling for employment

  • Money Management

  • Everyday IT

This programmes is not just about upskilling, it is about so much more. We have the opportunity to break down social barriers, and change the mindset of a whole new generation of young people about the value and importance of people with disabilities in their communities and future work places.

This short video will give you an insight into how our Creative TY Connections model creates an inclusive environment for people who live with a disability, while addressing the digital divide and breaking down social barriers.
