Pricing Artwork Guideline. Option one. To work out the pricing for your artwork, a simple method is to charge by the square inch. To do this you multiply the length by the width of your painting. For example, 8inch wide x 8inch long = 64 euro
8x8=64 euro + materials + framing. If you charge 1 euro per square inch, that would be 64 euro. Add the price of materials plus framing. If you feel the total is not enough, add what you feel is appropriate tot he total. Don't under value, be happy!
Option two. Another way of deciding on an appropriate price for your painting, you can decide on an hourly rate to pay yourself. Calculate the number of hours you have spent creating the piece. Remember to add materials and framing costs
