Hello, my name is Peter Kehoe and I live in Bridgetown, County Wexford.
I have been doing art since I was a child. The artists that inspire me are Picasso, Claude Monet and Vincent Van Gogh. My favourite painting is Sunflowers by Van Gogh. I created the artwork for the exhibition because I like painting wildlife, usually animals and birds. I like them in their normal habitat in natural poses. I also like painting seascapes and landscapes. The mediums I like to use are watercolors and acrylics.
What I would like to say through my artwork is art is a very positive pastime. I emphasize this through bright and cheerful colours.
My style of work is bold shapes and lines with bright colours.
