Hi, I’m Claudia Williams, I’m from Limerick originally, but I’m now in County Tipperary. I’m a self - taught artist and I take a great deal of inspiration from all forms of media that falls into the category of Horror.

I think with art it's important to conjure emotions and reactions from viewers, and for me, the art that does this for me borders on the side of macabre. Likewise, I think it’s really effective in making people feel things and therefore is where I’m drawn to in my art.

Not only that, but I usually use canvas, pencils, acrylic paint and inking pens to create my work. Being in the connecting artists programme is fascinating to me because I feel like I have a lot to learn, and it’s a great opportunity to meet fellow artists.
