Brian Cusack lives in Kilrush, County Clare, where his love of art emerged as a young man and where it has grown over the last 15 years.

Using acrylics mostly, he paints a wide variety of subjects, usually from existing images, but more recently he has taken to open-air painting as can be seen in this his market scene.

Brian and three colleagues are supported to run their own business called Woodwebs and they have a stall in Kilrush Farmers Market selling woodcraft.

It’s a place that is important to him, full of colour, energy and laughter where craft workers and artisan food producers come together to sell their wares.

Brian says how he feels about the Connecting Artists project and exhibition: “Excited, happy.”
